Important Qualifier Selection points

  1. You will be allowed to choose your top three choices.
  3. Each qualifier will have a snow date scheduled. You must be able to attend that Snow date. We will accommodate only under extenuating circumstances.
  4. Prepare your team as though you are going to a December qualifier.
  5. We try to accommodate to situations and exceptions can be made. However, the following are not permitted:
    1. Vacation
    2. New team
    3. Some of the team not being available due to sports, music etc. FLL runs and operates as a sport.
  6. If you have more than one team. Plan to have a coach for each team. Please do not try to register all your teams at one location. It is VERY difficult to place coaches with more than two teams at one location. Even two can be difficult, however manageable.
  7. Please understand, as with all of FLL, including us, we operate on the passion and commitment of volunteers. Our qualifying sites have sacrificed their time and space to help contribute to such an important imitative. Each of the sites are limited in the amount teams they can take.

Anyone is welcome to attend a Qualifier to see what it's all about -- all FIRST events are free and open to the public.  The best time to see the action at FLL Qualifiers is typically in the early afternoon from about noon - 3pm, though times may vary at specific events.

We are looking for volunteers to help at our FIRST LEGO League and other competitions in Maryland.  Please Volunteer for a Maryland FIRST LEGO League Event
